Learning to Walk!!

This is how we move!

 So now that Claire has taken some of her first steps she has more energy than anything!! She isn't fully walking, still crawling but she is so fast at it.  This is how taking pictures of her is turning out lately, not so easy. She won't just sit and smile for me any more. I took almost 30 pics and these were the best. Guess she wasn't in the mood for a photo shoot!!

10 months!!

My baby girl is now 10 months, she has reached the double digits!!  She is getting sooo close to walking, she zooms around the coffee table and all along the couches. She can now stand up by her self and then sometimes does squats while standing. It cracks me up!! She is now laughing at everything and knows when she is funny becuase it makes us laugh. Still no teeth yet, hopefully soon..all of her friends are getting teeth left and right!

Now that is a little crawling machine she is getting into everything. We have since put the latches on all of our cupboard doors, because her sticky little hands were pulling everything out! As you can see the pantry door didn't get shut all the way and she wandered in there to explore.

 She is now starting to eat some more table food. She loves mac n' cheese ( just like her mama) and yogurt and sweet potatoes.  Claire is also becoming quite the little chatterbox. She knows her voice and chooses to exercise it regularly. She is also a little flirt, she smiles at everybody and we are always stopped in the store, airport or park by people telling us how beautiful she is! I know she will love to hear about that someday.

Mom & Wyatt's visit

So this past weekend my mom and my nephew Wyatt came on out to Vegas for a visit!! We had a wonderful time. We visited the chocolate factory down in Henderson, played at 2 different parks both that had mini water parks. We also spent the day swimming in our pool! Wyatt helped Uncle Travis plant some flowers and blow up all the water toys.  The last night we went down to Caesars palace and had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory.  It was a fast trip for  them but a fun one.

Family Fun Day

 So this past sunday Travis, Claire and I decided to do some hiking out at Red Rock Canyon Park. We ended up having a wonderful time and as you can see Claire loves riding in the backpack. It is so nice to get out the city and spend some time in the wilderness. We are trying to make this a weekly adventure of hiking!

 This is one of the wild burro's that you can see all over the park. We have been on a mission to find them as they are sneaky little guys.

This past weekend Claire also had a few new adventures. She got to try out riding in the carrier on the back of my bike. I couldn't help but laugh at her for a couple minutes, the helmet just makes her head look so big. She did so good and just talked the whole time.

We also enjoyed our pool for the first time.. as you can see Claire is trying out her new life jacket!
